Please note that completion of this form does not guarantee that you will be selected as a reviewer. Our editorial team selects reviewers based on their expertise and relevance to the manuscript being reviewed.

Reviewers play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and integrity of the scientific research published in the IJSEI Journal. As such, the following guidelines are established for reviewers:

  • Objectivity: Reviewers must evaluate the manuscripts objectively and impartially, without any bias or discrimination based on the author's race, gender, religion, nationality, or any other personal characteristics.
  • Confidentiality: Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript and the peer review process. They must not disclose any information about the manuscript or the review process to anyone except the journal editor.
  • Timeliness: Reviewers must complete the review process within the given deadline and submit their reports in a timely manner.
  • Constructive Feedback: Reviewers must provide constructive feedback to the author, which should help improve the quality of the manuscript. Feedback must be specific, relevant, and detailed.
  • Ethical Concerns: Reviewers must report any ethical concerns or potential misconduct observed during the review process, such as plagiarism, data fabrication, or ethical concerns related to human or animal subjects.
  • Conflict of Interest: Reviewers must declare any potential conflict of interest that may affect their judgment or objectivity in the review process. If there is a conflict of interest, reviewers must decline the review request or recuse themselves from the review process.
  • Feedback to the Editor: Reviewers must provide their feedback and recommendations to the editor, including a recommendation for acceptance, rejection, or revision of the manuscript. Reviewers must also provide comments and suggestions for improvement, if necessary.
